Important information about the pending Blackboard 9.1 upgrade:

• Spring 2012 Courses are available in the current version, Blackboard 8 until June 15th.
• Summer Session courses for 2012 and all Blackboard courses prior to Spring 2012 will be available in Blackboard 9.1 starting May 24th. (these older courses and the summer session 2012 courses will be unavailable in Blackboard 8 from May 18th to May 24th while they are ported to Blackboard 9.1.) Spring 2012 courses will be unaffected by the Blackboard 9.1 upgrade until mid-June.
• May 18th until approximately May 24th, Blackboard Organizations will be inaccessible. During that time, the Organizations will be moving to the 9.1 environment.
  
  
• Please be advised that SafeAssign is experiencing significant volume-related delays in the processing of submitted papers.  This problem is connected to SafeAssign and is not CUNY-specific.  We have escalated the issue with Blackboard Managed Hosting and will update you as further details become available.

Scheduled Maintenance

The reserved BMH maintenance window is Fridays from 2-6 am, but a special announcement will be made about any actual maintenance taking place.

Advisory

If you use a public computer (e.g., in a computer lab, in the library, or in a smart classroom), make sure to close all windows of your browser after logging out from Bb -- to delete the "session cookie" and prevent unauthorized access to your Portal/Bb account.
